Mount Pleasant

This Architect designed home has been designed to take in the fantastic views of the Canning River, to provide a bright open and inviting space that also allows for a young family to grow and integrate.
The concept presented was a house on a single level with an undercroft, to suit the contours of the land, that allowed transparency throughout the length of the accommodation.  That is the ability to ‘look through’ the spaces within the house to the Canning River to the East.  This transparency would also allow for natural light to penetrate all parts of the upper level.  Floor to ceiling glass further enhances this transparency.
A large entertaining deck was provided, overlooking the Canning River. It has operable louvres to take advantage of seasonal sun and a transparent backed pool, cantilevering from the entertaining deck.
A central reflection pond was incorporated which can be viewed from the Family, Dining, Kitchen, Master Suite and Hallway. A feature glass staircase has been installed to make a sparkling entrance to the home, where the Builder has made use of the Owners airplane propeller as a light fitting, which has its own story to tell.
Externally, the design is clean lined and modern, incorporating Alpolic lining, Texture Coat and feature Tiles.
The Architect has also provided an undercroft for vehicle parking, a Multi-use room and an area for services to be contained.
The quality and standard of finishing on this home is of the highest standard, typical of Contour Projects reputation for workmanship.
